Super Sitters Program
The Super Sitters Program is an interactive educational initiative designed to equip participants with the necessary tools to become proficient babysitters. For youth ages 11-15, this program will prepare students to be better babysitters when caring for infants and children. It will teach them how to stay safe, what to do in an emergency, how to choose age-appropriate activities, and how to recognize and handle a variety of different behaviors. Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business and skills in managing that business.
According to the CDC, unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death in children aged 1-14. By providing these certifications, we aim to significantly contribute to lowering this statistic. This will empower our youth with the necessary skills to respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations involving infants and children.
